Baptism? I’m ready!

Yay! This upcoming week we have a baptism! Actually the sisters will be having a baptism too, so it’s a double baptism this upcoming Saturday! It’s going to be awesome! Jim is super cool and his English is really good. He hopes to be able to go to America to study for his masters degree…he’s lived in Canada before, but it was only for a short period of time. “Clearing cookies” at the fireside

This week went pretty well! We were able to get about eight people to come to church in two different wards for varying amounts of time. In order to get more people to church next week, we will be making pancakes! Hopefully that will encourage people to come…and better yet, to come early. We’ll also encourage members to come early to eat pancakes (hopefully with their friends that they *should* be inviting!). Continue reading →
